COVID-19 시대의 언론의 책임과 역할 조동찬 (SBS 의학전문기자 )

한양대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고 한양대병원에서 신경외과 전문의를 취득했다. 27사 79연대 의무 중대장, 국군서울지구병원 신경외과 과장으로 군 복무를 마쳤고, 2008년부터 SBS 의학전문기자로 일하고 있다. 질병을 어떻게 예방하고, 어떻게 초기에 대처할 것인가에 대한 보도를 주로 하고 가끔은 가습기 살균제, 백남기 농민 사망진단서, 인보사 등 무거운 주제를 보도했다. 한국방송대상, 민주 언론상, 한국 기자상 등의 분에 넘치는 상은 사회적 이슈 보도에 내려졌지만, 건강 정보 보도 역시 같은 중요함이 있다고 믿는다. 의사 면허증으로 기자 일을 하는 것이 업보 탓이라고 생각한 적이 없는 건 아니지만 대체로 고맙게 여긴다. 말기 암을 앓으면서도 자신이 다니던 병원 환자를 위해 웃는 낯으로 자원 봉사를 하던, 지금은 하늘의 별이 된 청년을 인터뷰 할 수 있었던 건 잊지 못할 행운이었다. 지금은 시련인 코로나 19가 인류의 선물로 바뀌는 순간까지 내 자리에서 할 수 있는 작을 일을 할 것이다. 금번 대한응급의학회 추계학술대회에서는 "COVID-19 시대의 언론의 책임과 역할" 에 관해 강의할 예정이다.

코로나 우울증 손지훈 (서울의대 정신건강의학과 )

손지훈 교수는 서울대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고, 서울대학교병원에서 정신건강의학과 전문의 수련을 마치고 자격을 취득하였으며, 서울대학교 의과대학에서 의학박사학위를 취득하였다. 서울대학교병원 공공의료사업단 교수로 재직하면서, 종로구 정신건강복지센터와 서울시 정신건강복지센터 센터장을 역임하였다. 현재 서울대학교병원 공공진료센터 교수로 재직 중이다. 금번 대한응급의학회 추계학술대회에서 "코로나 블루 : COVID19 대유행과 우울증"에 관해 강의할 예정이다.

Brief Biosketch
Professor Woo Joo Kim is a native of Korea, where he received a medical doctor (Korea University College of Medicine, 1983) and was boarded in internal medicine (Korea University Hospital, 1987). In 1990, he joined the Division of Infectious Diseases of the Korea University Guro Hospital as a Clinical Instructor and achieved the subspecialty board of adult infectious diseases in 1992. From 1996 to 1997, he served as a visiting scholar at the Division of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, Chicago, USA. Between 1999 and 2001, he worked as Chief of the Laboratory of Respiratory Viruses and the National Influenza Center at the Korea National Institute of Health (KNIH), supervising the surveillance, control, and research activities concerning influenza, measles, rubella, and mumps. While at the KNIH, Professor Kim was instrumental in the establishment of the Korean Influenza Surveillance Scheme (KISS), the first such national surveillance system for influenza. Since 2000, Professor Kim has been a member of the National Advisory Committee on Influenza. He provides advice on issues such as the identification of priority groups for influenza vaccination programs, the appropriate vaccination campaign, surveillance, burden of disease studies, and vaccine safety. Since 2007, he also has been advising on the influenza pandemic preparedness plan that the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) is developing as well as the research and development of the influenza pandemic vaccine. In recognition of his expertise in and contribution to the field of influenza, he was appointed as Chair of the Trans-governmental Enterprise for Pandemic Influenza in Korea (TEPIK) in 2010, designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. He was the president of the Korean Society of Infectious Diseases from 2014 to 2015. During the 2105 MERS-CoV outbreak in Korea, He had served as the leader of Rapid Response Team and the special supervisor to prime minister to help the government for ending the outbreak within two months. Professor Kim won the "15th Bayer Clinical Medicine Award" organized by the Korean Medical Association in February 2019. In the last five years, Professor Kim has published numerous articles in international journals, including the Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Infectious Diseases, Vaccine, Clinical Vaccine and Immunology, PLoS One, Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics, Influenza and Other Respiratory Viruses, Emerging Infectious Diseases, Epidemiology and Infection, Scientific Reports, Journal of Clinical Virology and the Journal of Medical Virology. 금번 대한응급의학회 추계학술대회에서 “백신의 개발의 현황의 최신 업데이트와 가능성” 을 강의할 예정이다.
